Central Alabama Police Canine Training Assoc holds the highest standards for our detector dogs. We selection test every dog to ensure they have the traits and drives necessary to be detection dogs. Our detectors K9's are passive indications, and we teach the dogs to have the ultimate focus and to pinpoint the source of the odor. These dogs are incredible to watch and even more fun to handle. Narcotics Detection Dog School is five weeks long.

Dogs are carefully picked out Dogs and selected for their keen sense of smell, drive, intelligence, stable temperament, and eagerness to please. Central Alabama Police Canine Training Association holds our tracking dogs to the highest standards. Tracking through drive allows us to unlock the dog's natural instincts to track ground disturbance. Each dog is evaluated and tested before entering our tracking program to ensure that we can provide our clients with the absolute best results. Our tracking school is designed to push each K9 team to the limits and not only provide them with high quality training but also build their confidence for real world deployments.
