DETECTION CANINES

Law enforcement agencies have used canines for decades. The mission of the Detection Canine Program is to provide the federal agencies and state and local law enforcement, too:   with the tools, techniques, and knowledge to understand better, train, and utilize detection canines.

Central Alabama Police Canine Training Assoc holds the highest standards for our detector dogs. We selection test every dog to ensure they have the traits and drives necessary to be detection dogs. Our detectors K9's are passive indications, and we teach the dogs to have the ultimate focus and to pinpoint the source of the odor. These dogs are incredible to watch and even more fun to handle. Narcotics Detection Dog School is five weeks long.

EXPLOSIVE DETECTION

Central Alabama Police Canine Training Association Inc. holds the highest standards for our Explosives dogs. We selection test every dog to ensure they have the traits and drives necessary to be  Explosive dogs. All our K9's are passive indications, and we teach the dogs to have the ultimate focus and to pinpoint the source of the odor. Whenever it comes to the bomb dogs, not all breeds are the same. Dogs are carefully picked out Dogs and selected for their keen sense of smell, drive, intelligence, stable temperament, and eagerness to please. By deciding only the best of the best, canines have longer and more successful explosive detecting careers. Law enforcement agencies have used canines for decades. The mission of the Detection Canine Program is to provide the federal agencies and state and local law enforcement, too: with the tools, techniques, and knowledge to understand better, train, and utilize Explosives canines.
